Bags of potential alert! Not only are sprouts super nutrient dense but your bag of seeds will grow into pounds of food! Generally legumes will grow five times their weight and leafy greens will grow ten times! That means one pound of broccoli seeds will grow ten pounds of delicious fresh nutrient dense broccoli sprouts!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the buzzwords floating around the health industry these days. I saw a wonderful ad for some plant-based shoes last week that caught my eye and started thinking how this relates to sprouts. It struck me that sprouts are not plant-based, they’re just plants. That ‘just’ is incredibly powerful though.. Sprouts are so packed full of nutrients. These baby broccolis can become incredible additions to your daily life. Growing your own sprouts puts all the power in your hands. No trucking, no shopping, no worrying about how long they’ve been on the produce shelves. Within one week you get pounds of delicious fresh vegetables. I love watching them transform from a tiny little pile of seeds into a bag full of delicious produce!

Nearly 4 years ago I made the decision to start drinking wheatgrass everyday. Through this I’ve looked for convenience and efficiency in growing and juicing. We launched our juice capsules so that we can travel lighter without compromise. This powerful juice refuels me in an inexplicable way. I feel more grounded, more awake, nourished and generally healthier. It brings me so much joy to share this incredible juice with the world.
