Our Chai Balance is full of warming seasonal spices—like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. What better way to enjoy them than in a soft and chewy spiced “sugar” cookie (secretly powered by alfalfa sprouts)!

Chai Balance Cookies

(Vegan + Gluten Free)

A little chewy, a little sweet, and lots of holiday spices.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

½ cup cashew butter

3 Tbsp macadamia milk

3 Tbsp maple syrup (or preferred sweetener)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ Tbsp coconut sugar (or preferred sweetener)

⅓ cup almond flour

2 Tbsp sweet rice flour

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 ½ Tbsp Chai Balance

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Whisk all liquid ingredients together until well blended.

2. Stir in dry ingredients. Dough will be sticky.

3. Cover the bowl and chill your dough for 30 minutes in the fridge. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

4. When chilled, roll dough into 1 tablespoon balls and place on a parchment paper-lined baking tray.

5. Bake for 15 mins (until edges golden brown). They will be very soft immediately out of the oven. Let them rest on the tray outside of the oven for 5 minutes, then let them cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes—and enjoy!
