DEAR SPROUTMAN: The Tribest folks provide an optional seedling plastic sheet with the Sproutman Wheatgrass Grower. But I live in a humid area so I tried sprouting directly on the seedling flat. The seedling flat provides more air circulation and gives the roots more room to breathe, but the clean-up is a hassle. Do you have any alternative suggestions? Thanks in advance! – Collin
DEAR COLLIN: I agree. I do not love the seedling flat. It was designed to reduce the cleanup of roots from the seedling tray, but the plastic is too heavy. I never got to approve it before it went into production. I would recommend people use paper towels on the seedling tray to reduce the amount of rootlet growth. You can view the simple instructions for this method here: Paper Towel Reduces Root Cleanup Labor.
Hello Sproutman, I am interested in wheetgrass, and the fast. I cannot afford the juicer that you have. I do have the juice lady Juicer, and it doesn’t work well with wheetgrass. I do have the freshlife sprouter, (Tri Vest) with 2 barrels. would like to try your tray’s for growing wheatgrass. Are there alternative ways for getting the juice out.
I did a 7 day juice fast using apple, carrot, beet, & brocally juice.
I do have your Ki Gar cookbook ( Co. 1999 ) & intend to get involved with it.
I would be interested in Sprouing bags for heaver beans, and even baskets. do not need any kits, that come with them.
